SLATERS GAUGE 1 LOCOMOTIVE KITThese long-lived locos were introduced as early as 1869 and one lasted in service until 1951. The kit represents these locomotives in, perhaps, their most attractive state, as rebuilt by Johnson, when they were painted in the fully lined version of the Midland Railway red livery. The kit is largely etched brass, with a turned brass boiler, lots of lost wax castings, and comes complete with wheels and gearbox/motor. |
