Wagons

The IWB Cargowaggons were produced to transport palletted cargo internationally between Europe and the UK with a total of 120 built in 1977. In later years some of these wagons have also been used as barrier wagons for the delivery of new rolling stock. These were one of the first large bogie wagons used on Britain's railways.

Heljan previously produced these many years ago in the four liveries shown below. We recognised the need for a re-run of these with the growing demand for more modern rolling stock and have commissioned Heljan to produced these again exclusively for Tower Models with the addition of new liveries not previously produced in O gauge. At the bottom of this page are all of the colour layout images for the liveries we will be producing.

The original run of these many years ago had an RRP of £199.00 but without any new tooling costs we have been able to get the RRP down to £149.99 with a Tower Models price of just £125.00 each but with a special offer when buying and 4 or more of just £100.00 each. Only a small numbers are being produced and are a perfect companion for many of the more recent locomotive projects including the Dapol Class 66 which is due out later this year.

Expected release for these is spring 2026 and we are taking advance orders for these now, numbers are low and at these prices advance ordering is recommended.

Suitable for block running trains or as singles in the later liveries.

As these operate in the UK and on the continent we are looking for a shop in Europe to stock them for our European customers to save the hassle of customs for our European customers

We can also weather these for an additional £40.00 or custom graffiti them for £100.00 each. The weathering takes approximately a month and the custom graffiti work approximately 3 months to complete. These are a great blank canvas for graffiti work and look amazing when completed.
