The twenty four original streamlined Coronation class locomotives were de-streamlined
during or immediately after the end of the Second World War. This saved
considerable amounts of maintenance time and also reduced the weight by
two tons. This kit represents the Class in late L.M.S. or B.R. days until
withdrawal. It depicts the locomotive with restore smoke box and cut back
streamlined tender to make 46220-9 and 46235-48.
