Heljan have announced the production of the LMS / BR inspection saloon for release in 2023. This is a long lived vehicle in plenty of liveries. We are taking advance orders for these now for despatch when they become available.
The coaches which should be available 2023 and we are taking advance orders for these now. Heljan have not set a price on these as of yet but we expect this to be confirmed soon by Heljan
Used for engineers’ inspections, VIPs, meetings and district managers’ tours of network, these classic LMS vehicles had seated saloons at each end with large windows to give a good all round view of the line. Between the saloons was a toilet and a small kitchen for preparing meals. The perfect one-coach train for O gauge layouts of all sizes, from depots to large exhibition layouts.
It is likely that all liveries will come pre-numbered but so far only 2 numbers have been decided upon. As and when we get more details we will update this website with confirmed details and progress on the tooling.
