HJ42xx.

The standard models from Heljan will be coming named and numbered and in a choice of liveries. (names and numbers as per the list shown below) Usual specification of twin motors, working lights and fans, sprung buffers and couplings.

Five standard versions will be available, these being:
Maroon with yellow warning panels
Maroon with yellow ends
Green with yellow warning panels
Blue with full yellow ends and twin double arrows
Blue with full yellow ends and single double arrows

A definitive Limited Edition of around 50 pieces will be available only from Tower Models, this being original Green without the yellow warning panels and un-named or un-numbered

At the same time Tower Models have also commisioned a special run of the standard liveries but un-named or numbered for those customers who have the own favourite name and number that they would like to finish the loco as themselves. These too are in small numbers and exclusive to Tower Models. Alternatively Tower Models can finish one of the un-named and un-numbered locos with your choice of both name and number and even offer a choice of condition from clean to very heavily weathered through our workshops if required. Details of the options and costs for this can be found beneath the main list of locos liveries.

There are no plans to produce a Class 43 Warship.

The entire class started life in BR green, the numbers on some of the locos above are shown in red , this being used to indicate the members of the class that went into BR maroon livery. I have also indicated in the notes those of the class that were scrapped whilst still in BR maroon. If they are shown in blue then the specific loco went straight from BR green into BR blue and was never BR maroon. The only exception is D800 which was scrapped still in BR green. Both D808 and D810 also carried an unusual livery of BR green with full yellow ends for a short time which would need a full end repaint as is not being produced by Heljan.
