Heljan 'O' Gauge Class 45.

HJ45xx.

Several years ago Heljan produced the original Class 45 Peak and have now decided to produce the later, refurbished Class 45 / 0 and 45/1. Fully revised and updated the new Class 45 Peak has sealed beam nose ends, plug-and-play DCC interface and improved lighting features. The models will be available as steam heat Class 45/0 and Electric Heat Class 45/1 variants, the latter with the option of high intensity headlights for late- 1980s modellers

Now having received the decorated production samples which have been approved the loco can go into production and should be available before the end of the year. Standard features include an XL decoder interface, space for a large speaker and smoke unit, twin motors/flywheels, independently switchable cab, tail and headlights and superb fine detail throughout.

We still have a small number of the Tower Models Limited Edition all green examples of the original model but numbers of these are low but available for immediate despatch

We are taking advance orders for these now and we are as always offering our numbering and weathering service as well if required. Advance ordering is highly recommended as demand has been extremely high for these.

Custom numbered, named and weathered all green Class 45 recently completed through the workshop

Shown above is a custom example of the High Intensity Headlight undecorated version of the new Class 45

Here is a list of the entire class for those people seeking inspiration for suitable names and numbers, the locos highlight in bold text are the preserved examples. The list has ben edited from the class to cover the locos with split centre headcodes. Note though that the later 45-1 ETH fitting is not represented so 45101-45150 in BR blue era would require the bufferbeam pipework/connections adding.

As always we are offering our service to name, number and weather the locos as required if customers want us to:

Number clean finish costs an additional £25.00

Number and weather costs and additional £75.00
