Each servo will operate an individual Peco turnout without any modification, or removal of the over-centre spring. User-friendly programming makes it very easy to set up, and its compact design makes it suitable for installation in small spaces, either above or below the baseboard. It can be used with 12v DC analogue systems or fitted with a Stationary Decoder PLS135 for digital control of the system.

It can also be used for semaphore signal operation.

Each servo has a mounting bracket included and everything needed to connect it up to a turnout is supplied as well as details of a variety of mounting options.

If the SmartSwitch system PLS100 is used to operate PECO Electrofrog turnouts, the polarity of the frogs can be changed automatically, electronically and 100% reliably, when the servo moves the blades across, by adding the SmartFrog PLS130 to each turnout.

LEDs can be added to the SmartSwitch or SmartFrog to show the directional status of each servo - ideal for control panel route indicators or operating 2-aspect signalling.
